Amazon Takeover: Brands You Never Knew Were Amazon Products

Would you ever wear an Amazon clothing brand? If you do a lot of your shopping online, chances are you might already be wearing one of their in-house brands. Over the last couple of years, Amazon has quietly launched several clothing brands. The company has also branched out to offer home furniture and sportswear. As Amazon continues its world takeover, the company is moving into several businesses. Here are eight brands you never knew were Amazon products.

1. The Fix

Amazon entered the shoe and handbag business earlier in 2017 when it debuted a private-label collection called The Fix. Customers can now shop the latest fashions and get a good deal while they’re at it. Handbags start at $49 and shoes start at $69, reports Women’s Wear Daily. What’s unique about this collection is new styles are released monthly instead of seasonally.

2. James & Erin

Another fashion line launched by Amazon is James & Erin, which features conservative styles for women. You’ll see a lot of long skirts and dresses as well as tops with higher necklines than what has been the norm in the fashion industry. Considering Amazon already owns fashion sites Shopbop and East Dane, it’s no surprise the online retailer continues to add private fashion labels as it seeks to gain more of a foothold in fashion.

3. North Eleven

The online retailer has also attempted to fill the gap when it comes to clothing for the fall and winter months. Amazon wants to make sure their customers are warm as well as fashionable. They accomplished this through the launch of North Eleven, which offers women’s accessories for cold weather. Featured items include a knit poncho for $8 and an infinity scarf for $49.

4. Buttoned Down

The retailer didn’t forget about the men. It also launched a private-label menswear line called Buttoned Down. This fashion line features men’s button-down shirts made from non-iron, 100% Supima cotton. And if the shirt is not quite to your satisfaction, have no worries. Each shirt comes with an unconditional, money-back satisfaction guarantee. Prices start at $39.

5. 206 Collective

In addition to The Fix, Amazon offers shoes for men and women through the 206 Collective line. You’ll see a lot of flats and earth tones in this collection. So, if you’re looking for a pair of shoes that will go with almost everything in your closet and don’t cost a fortune, this might be the shoe line for you. Prices start at $40.

6. Franklin Tailored

Amazon also recently entered the suit business with its line of menswear called Franklin Tailored. The suits received decent reviews. One reviewer on Dappered, a fashion site for men, said Amazon’s suit line is a good alternative to J. Crew Factory’s Thompson line. The Franklin Tailored line is made in Canada and has just one style and fit for now. Suit prices start at $104. The collection also recently began offering ties and dress shirts.

7. Scout + Ro

In addition to private-label lines for women and men, there’s also a clothing line just for the kids. This is another category where Amazon sought to fill inventory gaps. Amazon recently debuted a children’s line under the name Sout + Ro. Most of the styles are basic, such as plain T-Shirts, sweatshirts, sweaters, and pants. Prices start at $2.06.

8. Stone & Beam

Amazon also recently entered the furniture business. The online retailer introduced two furniture lines. The first line is called Rivet, which features modern living room furniture and household accessories. The second line is called Stone & Beam, and features modern living room furniture at a higher price point. Furniture Today reports full-size sofas under the Rivet line range from $699 to $999, and Stone & Beam sofas range from $999 to $1,449.
